PFR 01 An enamelled 'squirrel and vine' teapot, cover and stand


Yongzheng (1723-1735)

The teapot is of pear shape and has a domed cover. The sides and cover are applied and pierced with leafy and fruiting vine in green, blue, red and white and with four squirrels in gilt and red. The octafoil stand is applied with further vine and two squirrels encircling a crane roundel in aubergine and green enamels
Teapot and cover 12 cm high; stand 15 cm diameter
