WFE 70 A spinach-green jade belt buckle

18th/19th century 

The belt buckle comprises two elements forming the buckle, each carved in openwork with a sinuous chilong and lingzhi. The hook is in the form of a dragon-head. The reverse of each is carved with a circular button for attachment. The stone is of a spinach-green colour with some black speckling
