EFE 19 A Jizhou splashed bowl

南宋 吉州窯黑釉碗

Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279)  

The interior of the bowl is covered with a dark brown glaze freely splashed with an abstract design in a light brown tone. The exterior is plain and covered with a dark brown glaze above a layer of brown-red slip falling short of the unglazed foot.
11.5 cm diameter  

Provenance: Acquired in China in the 1980s

時代：南宋，西元1127至1279年。
特徵：碗外及內側均施深褐色釉，內部濺有淺棕色的抽象紋飾。碗足未施釉。
尺寸：直徑11.5公分。
