JW06 A bronze koro and cover


Meiji Period, 19th century 

The koro is cast in the shape of a lotus flower with eight petals supported on a foot in the form of a lotus leaf with wavy rim.  The flat cover is pierced with small holes and has a finial in the form of two turtles, one seated on the back of the bigger one.
Height 9.5 cm
