The bearded sage is leaning slightly to the right to conform with the shape of the tusk. He is dressed in long flowing robes, his hands pressed against his chest and concealed under wide sleeves extending to the ground. The face has a benign expression below a stained brown ribboned cap. The amber-coloured patina highlighting the attractive grain in the material.
