明萬曆 青花「克拉克」山水花卉紋盤

Wanli period (1573-1620)

The dish has a flattened barbed rim and is well moulded in relief with an eight-panel border enclosing various flowers divided by smaller panels of precious objects. The centre is painted with an octagonal panel enclosing a river landscape with houses, pavilions, pagoda and huts, two figures in a sampan, birds in flight amongst swirling clouds, all reserved on a ground of various diaper patterns divided by demi-flowerheads.
The reverse is painted with eight panels enclosingflower sprays and jewels divided by  lingzhi.

特徵：折沿菱口，盤沿模印八開光內有花卉裝飾。盤心錦地開光內畫河岸山水、寶塔樓閣。
