BF 90 A fine blue and white bowl

清康熙 青花鳳凰牡丹紋碗

Kangxi period (1662-1722)

The bowl is well potted with rounded sides rising towards an everted rim.
It is painted around the exterior in strong bright cobalt blue with four well detailed plunging phoenixes over peony blooms growing from an undulating flowering stem below four canopies. The rim is painted inside and out with a border of leafy peony sprigs.
The interior is painted with a central medallion enclosing a further phoenix and peonies.
The base has an apocryphal six-character mark of Chenghua

特徵：碗心及外側均繪有精緻的鳳凰牡丹紋。底部可見偽「大明成化年製」底款。
