BFE65 A blue and white saucer dish

Shendetang mark,17th century

The shallow dish has rounded sides and slightly everted rim and is painted in the interior with large flowering branches of peony and magnolia growing from rockwork within a double line borde below the rim. The exterior is painted with tasselled symbols including an artemisia leaf, a chime stone and a pearl amongst flames.
