The sake bottle is shaped as a smiling boy seated on his knees wearing a green kimono with roundels of autumn branches in green and blue enamels and gilt on a creamy crackled ground. He is holding a 'noshi' decorated with branches of bamboo, pine and prunus.
Height 14.5 cm 

The style of this rare piece is decorated after the style of Nonomura Ninsei (active 1655-1681) who set up the Kyoto ware kilns.
