Baiyang shanren: pseudonym of the Ming flower painter Chen Chun 陳淳
It is not known who Guotai is. He could have been the maker of the rubbing.
In the 19th century, a new wave came up in the painting style, which showed bright and natural colors, but remained consistent with tradition, often combining the painting with an ancient subject or piece of art.
