The deep elongated oval body is supported on four blade feet cast as stylised animals. The sides with horizontal grooves below a formal scroll border running through the loop handle formed as a horned animal which rises with arched back to bite the lip of the vessel. The interior has five archaistic pictograms and has a pale green patina with reddish patches and some brighter green encrustation
